O-Tū-Kapua (‘what clouds see’), a glimpse of the secret world of a forest, was created by the TEMP-air project – a collaboration of F4, NIWA, UNITEC, AUT, IMERSIA and made possible through a grant from MBIE Curious Minds. This app, which is set in the Waitakere Ranges in Auckland, New Zealand, introduces atmospheric science to children, taking advantage of current innovative digital technologies to enable participation, engagement and understanding of the ecosystem in which we live, using imagery, bilingual storytelling (te Reo Māori, English), music and other creative activities.
